Ecology Center on route of Belgian explorer

The Ecology Center was a stop on the more than 20,000 mile route that Arnaud Maldague is travelling from northern Canada to southern Argentina - using non-motorized means only! He arrived by bike at the center, after recently having kayaked the entire length of the Mississippi River.  He arrived at the center about 285 days into "the mannenkentrip", which is expected to take 2-3 years. The exploration includes an ecological component, so Arnaud was eager to hear about research and other activities at the center.
