About Us

We provide resources for research, education, and community activities in ecology and environmental biology.  Our scope includes K-12, undergraduate, and graduate students who participate in structured classes, independent projects, and hands-on field and laboratory studies.  We also assist scientists, both within and outside of Louisiana, to conduct research in many different disciplines. We strive to raise social awareness about the value and importance of protecting Louisiana’s biological diversity and ecological communities.
